I must admit to belong to the group of people who read nearly everything and everywhere... so... as you can see...
BUT, I'm trying to stop with this habit, for the sake of literature and for the more prosaic reason that since I'm on a diet I've not so much time to spend while READING in such places of quiet and concentration.

I’ve tried it once and swore not to do it again because I got the book swimming on the floor with lots of water. Hehe… I was just so engrossed with the book that’s why I brought it in the bathroom. I always read on my bed or somewhere quiet. What I usually bring in the bathroom is coffee. I used to drink my coffee inside the toilet because coffee is one way that I can throw out (excuse me for that).

I am beyond guilty of being a bathroom reader LOL and I've been one since I was a kid...I got in the habit way way back when because there were always magazines in the bathroom growing up and its continued to this very day but now I think its cause its the only time and place I get at least a LITTLE peace and quiet..plus things seem to "move" better for some reason LOL

Absolutely. There is frequently a novel perched on top of the toilet cistern as it is one of the few quiet places I can hide from the chldren lol.
I have recently become a bathtime reader as well. It started out as just reading the end of a chapter while the taps were running but the book usually followed me in!!
I find this makes bathtime more relaxing and I really missed not having a book to soak with last night.

Ours is a toilet and bath together, so all of us have to use, though there is spare bathroom, we do not use it, since cleaning both everyday becomes a problem. Therefore no library is set up in bathroom. There is ample time to read during the remaining hours.

I'm not bathroom reader though I used to be one. But since having a kid of my own, I don't have that luxury anymore to stay in the bathroom as long as I can reading my favorite novel . The moment I'm gone out of her sight, my kid will surely look for me and come banging the door of the bathroom. I now enjoy reading before going to bed, that is if my kid will sleep early.
