Actually, at first, it was the other way around! I always saw him as Angel every time i saw him in Bones, but then after a few episodes he kinda grew into Agent Booth. Lol! I dunno, it seems he's very much human now. ^_^

I had the same problem. At first, I just saw him as Angel, it was so weird, :). I was waiting for his teeth to get all sharp and such! hahaha. Now, I think he is perfect as Agent Booth. I even got my husband hooked on the show. He is so hillarious as Booth that I can't help watching the show every week. Have you ever seen him at American Idol, sitting in the crowd with his child? OMG, It's so cute! After seeing him with his kid so many times and being a father in Bones, its harder to see him as Angel where he is not a father.

I remember watching him as Angel too, but when I saw one of his earlier movies recently, I couldn't help myself. I said, hey, that's Booth. It is strange, because when I first started watching Bones, I was saying, Angel, lol.

David is great as Boothe and I love Bones, but I have to admit that he'll always be Angel to me. Bones is a good solid show and I like it a lot, but Buffy and Angel made more of an emotional impression on me, and I was more invested in Angel's struggle to regain his humanity than I am in the character of Boothe.

I only started watching Bones about halfway or so through the first season partly because of thinking it would be hard to see him other than as Angel. I'm really glad I finally started watching it because not only is he Booth now but the character of Prudence Brennen (Bones) is so well done by Emily Deschanel that would have hated to miss that. Also, the rest of the cast are great, too.

Guess it shows what a great actor David is and that he can jump from genre's without loosing his appeal. I grew up watching him on Angel and thought I would always see him that way, much like I do with Sarah but I think Booth is so different and David is good enough to pull off the character and make you forget all about Angel.
