I'm wondering the same thing. I started a discussion here on MyLot today about my son being called the "N" word and have gotten very little response to it. I really wish that there were no racism in this world. I don't even see color, I only see what's inside. Not everyone is this world is good but, there are a lot of good people out there. I just don't get the whole racism thing and I'm having a really hard time with it.

I'm really sorry for your son girlgonefishing, yes just think about this, they don't even know what they had done. Just forgive them, alwys remember, kindess will return to you soon. Do not hesitate to stick on your idealism, this is what you believed. It is ridiculous using skin colors to intimidate people, beside those people, there're still more kind people that don't do racism, just stay positive.

As it turns out, when I went to the school and reported it on Monday, the kid had already done this two other times. This time he was suspended. I forgive him because I know it is just something he was taught.

You doing the right thing, it's useless to keep thinking for that thing. Congratulation for you since you're nice, may it'll return to you in the future

I have learned that it will happen anyway so I ignore it, I am an African American woman married to an Italian man and we have learned that this is not acceptable to members of both races, but we are happy, and we could not care less about there opinions. However in some situations, usually dealing with my children I will stand up and fight to keep the injustice of racism away from my precious children.

You're right pastorkayte, different race marriage is not a problem as long as both of the couples love each other, it's just peoople couldn't accept this, just let it flow

as you said, racist/racism happened in almost every country. if ever i would encounter a racist, at first i will be pissed off. but eventually, i will just laugh out about it. Taking racist comment too seriously will just create more trouble. so I think, the best thing to do about it, is just to laugh about it. anyways, not every nation or any individual is perfect. God create each one of us to be uniquely beautiful.
