I do not plan to reject the hard-core evidences that the global warming trend exists. I just can not agree that the global warming is caused by the civilization influence on the nature. I think, the certain temperature trend reflects a small curve in the global up-and-down graph, that have reasons much more powerful than the human activities on the Earth. Do you really think that the raising temperature on Mars (the same trend as on Earth) is also caused by man-made reasons?
I see the distinctive political background, playing the "global warming card". And many scientists refuse to play this game with politicians. For example, Claude Allegre, one of the leading French scientists, who was among the first trying to highlight the "global warming" danger 20 years ago, changed his mind, based on the many years of the scientific data, and now beleive that "global warming" is a result of the natural changes, and the danger is highly exaggerated.

I think it's a combination of both nature and humans. Nature runs it's own course, but our need to devour it's resources is speeding up the process. Our weather up here has been so screwed up the last few years, it's baffling. My kids had almost an entire month off from school last year because of snow. Generally we are lucky if we see snow at all during the winter. Now rain on the other hand we are use to. This fall is off to a strange start so we'll see.

Human civilization with all the technical means has all the opportunities to screw up the nature, I agree with that. I lived about 80 miles from Chernobyl Atomic Station, I was there before the blast, and I know, what is there now. Under the influence of the enormous radiation, the nature and the animals on the huge area has been genetically modified. I know, that the Chevron oil spills near Alaska for almost 18 years damaging a local wide life. I know, that shameless exploration of the nature is devastating. But, with all that, after reading many related reports, I tend to believe that the human interaction cannot bring the outcomes, characterized by the Global Warming. Yes, we can corrupt the weather on the smaller scale (improperly built artifical lake will for sure alter the climate in the neighborhood), but not globally.

I have read in many places, if you cut trees off, the rain fail which is supposed to reach a particular country recedes off by miles. And there is an effect on the climate on the surroundings too. But I don't know how intense it could be. But surely, going against nature could prove drastic. Over population and urbanisation, and unlimited usage of underground water could cause earthquakes and they do. But, not sure about global warming.

I believe in Global Warming because I can see the facts. And I'm absolutely sure it's our fault for all of this.We haven't concidered some important things in the past that we shouldn't have done and now we'll pay our price.May be we still have time to prevent what's worst to happen, but it doesn't depend on me.I wish this topic to be more and more discussed and finally to get down to action.

I firmly believe that we have a problem with global warming. And the most damage has occurred in just the last century (mainly the last few decades). I would say that is pretty much proof positive that civilization has created the problems. I think it is sad that the people are being warned time and again that we need to take action now and that people are still debating it.
I think they are playing the head in the sand game here. If I don't recognize or admit it then it doesn't exist.
What kind of proof do they need exactley. What will it take to make them stand up and notice what is going on. Our children and grandchildren will end up paying the price for our negligence.
