Ok, I just joined yuwie. Now what?

Visit your friends pages every day. That way they will visit your. Rate their page, make comments. Upload pictures to your page to give them something new to look at everyday. It is hard work but in the end I think it will be worth it. I haven't made much there yet but a lot of others have.

Definetly all about the referrals. Without them you won't really make much of anything. Still a fun site though I think.

I am not sure if it can make you more money for Christmas, Check out my blog to know the detailed guide of Yuwie. The way you are paid and the way the earnings are calculated. It requires a while and it isn't like MyLot too where in you are more lively. I donno it is just my feeling, not wanting to hurt your thoughts. Just make friends, write blog entries, refer people, join clubs, comment on others blog, all it needs is payment for your liveliness in this site. You probably won't make a lot from Yuwie at all unless you are good at getting referrals - tons of referrals, and even then I don't know if you will reach payout in time for Christmas. I would just stick with Gpt sites like Cashcrate, they will usually bring in more money than anything else.
