and what will you do about it?
The walls in our house are not soundproof so we can easily hear each other with just a little raise of our voice. i have a cousin who stays with us and at times she really snores sooooo loud when sleeping! ^.^ and i can really hear it even if she's in another room since the walls are not soundproof and the night is so quiet!
there are times that i cant really sleep because of it and it drives me crazy and what i do is wake up her and she would stop snoring for a while and that would be enough time for me to sleep. ^__^;;
so what do you do if you are face with this kind of situation?

Hi,no i could still not sleep even if it was a faint snore.Just the fact of knowing that someones snoring is enough to keep me awake,so i go and shake them a tiny bit to change their sleeping position making them stop,if it doesnt work i wake them up,like they did me,haha and tell them their snoring.

LOL you are so mean peanutjar! ^__^;; i don't wake someone who is snoring because i don't want to disturb them in their sleep. that is, if i can still tolerate it. if i have reached my limit, i would make sounds and noises until that person wakes up on his own. LOL then i'm free to sleep! LOL

My boyfriend sometimes snore. Sometimes very very loud. The first time it happen, I just couldnt sleep for the whole night.
Now, must of the time, it will not wake me. If I wake up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and if I come back he snores, sometimes I will have difficulty to go back to sleep, but after 15-20min i will be so tired that I will sleep again

I can sleep with a snorer in the room if I have already been asleep for a while. But if I am just going to sleep, and someone starts snoring, I cannot go. Furthermore it makes me jealous because the snoring person is sleeping so good and I can't even go to sleep with all the noise. What I usually do is try to find a position for the snorer that they don't snore as much. If I can get to sleep before that person rolls back into a position where they do snore, I am good.

I hate it when people snore!
What i do is i either move to a quieter room to sleep or i wake the person up (by gently shaking the person) to tell her/him that he/she's snoring! I don't feel any guilt waking them up because snoring can cause sleep apnea and that's not good.
Or sometimes when i'm just too sleepy to wake the person up i just make a noise to inform the person that i can't sleep. But when it doesn't really work i'll just shake the person and wake them up just so they can stop snoring! Lol!

No i cant sleep with the sound of snoring. Solution for this. I would use a pillow to cover up my ears or use earplugs to reduce the volume of sound. Its really very irritating and i would be able to sleep only if i am too tired and would just fall asleep when in bed.

I definitely can not sleep well when someone else is snoring, especially if their snoring is really loud. When I was younger, me and my brother shared a room and I had to move to another room because I could not sleep because of his snoring. My dad snored loudly too so I moved to a room downstairs in my parents home. Maybe I should have gotten earplugs or taken some over the counter medication to knock me out.

I have that problem too. I love for it to be totally quiet when I am sleeping. If something like this comes up, I try to not get frustrated. I try to think pleasant thouhgths and focus on my breathing and hope to be able to drift off to sleep.

Well for me i live in a small converted into a two bedroom 1 bedroom old trailer. My daughters room is down the hall from mine , im a very sound sleeper. i can not sleep regardless of any noise. and when the furnace kicks on im wide awake! usually at this time i here her snoring and even htough i know thats all it is i have to get up and go check on her and the doors etc etc... i know im a freak! what i do is i will go into her room and roll her gently on her side, cover her up snuggly wiht her blankets and put an extra pillow behind her back, to ease the rolling back over on her back and that will give me enough time to fall back asleep before she starts snoring again... BUT by that time my husband is home from work and is already in bed and he snores so loud! hes easy to prevent snores from though.. its kind of mean but hey it works.. lol with him i just pretend like im asleep and i move around alot to get him to budge from his snoring in my kleft ear postion to rolling over facing the wall. when that doesnt work i will say loudly " scott!" and he will slepey respond and ill say i lve you and then he will say i love you back roll to his side and hold me.. NO MORE SNORE!! lol

I can sleep. It is the awful quiet and when the window is open and I hear the birds chirping and the cars going, then I find it hard to sleep. Someone who snores like he is sawing wood does not bother me. I am married to a snorer. I just turn over and go back to sleep after thinking well isn't snoring dangerous, like a blockage of the air passage? Maybe he should use two pillows instead of throwing one on the floor.

No I can't that's why I have to go to sleep before my husband does. He use to have really bad snoring issues until he lost lots of weight so now I sleep soundly and can go to sleep after he has fallen asleep :)

My father and mother have been duets in snoring since I was a kid so I could easily fell asleep as if it was music in my ears even though its not. It's really funny when you could hear them answer each other with snores during the night. Normal people could not stand their noise but I'm really used to it that's why my future husband is very lucky to have a wife that could sleep amidst the snores saving him from waking up every night.

I can't stand it when someone snores and I'm still awake. It makes me want to scream, kick, and cry....just kidding. It does aggravate the crap out of me and it keeps me awake. As long as I'm asleep it doesn't bother me unless I wake up. My Aunt snores so loud that you can hear her in the living room which is pretty far away from her bedroom. I wonder why some people snore so loudly and what an easy solution would be?

If I am very tired and no sleep for the earlier days, then I am not affected by snoring. The moment body drops on the bed, I go to sleep. But in the usual times, I get irritated. My husband snores. Then I start thinking about some good things, scenes, good conversations and incidents of past, then slowly I go to sleep. But he sleeps in the ground floor now, so no problem.

It is hard to fall asleep with someone snoring in the same room. I have experienced this a few times. It happened when I was on business and had to live in a hotel and share the room with another guy who snored so loudly driving me crazy without being able to fall asleep. I tried to wake him up, but I failed. Finally I had to turn on the TV to cover his snoring to help me fall asleep. He was still snoring even if the TV was on. The next day I was to tired and sleepy. I would never forget the night in the hotel with the snoring guy.

No, it would drive me crazy! We once had a helper who sleeps at the floor of my sister's room, and after a few months, she's crying already, because she can't get even a wink of sleep. That helper could snore the house down! So after that crying episode of my sister, my mom asked our helper to transfer to my room. Oh my gosh! Now it was me who can't sleep. Sometimes I throw pillows at her.^_^ In the end, I transfered to my sister's room, sleeping at the floor. At least I get to sleep.

I used to sleep with people snoring around me. Sometimes i get disturbed but I pitty those people since it is a sign of difficulty in breathing. So instead of getting angry and irritated, i just let them do it and hoping they, too get a good night sleep.
