Don't Take Candy From Strangers??

Growing up we were always told not to take candy from strangers under NO circumstance!! Why is it okay to once a year knock on every possible door you can find and ask for "Strangers Candy"? And not only that, It's a good thing to end up with as much as you can? As much as I have always enjoyed Halloween, Isn't there something wrong with this picture? Maybe it's just me but there have been reported incidents involving tampered-with Halloween "Stranger Candy".

Ironic isn't? lol Actually, trick or tricking is not common here in our place. I usually see it in malls only. So I guess, it is safer since any incident of poising or whatsoever caused by candies can be blamed to the store who gave it. A big issue really. So, every store's management is careful with their candies.
