I use Mary Kay nail polish remover. It is so good I don't need to use anything special to get the nail polish off accept a little bit toilet paper. Works fantastic no matter how thick the nail polish! I am sure there is a good quality nailpolish remover in the stores but I don't know which brand that would be. Ask around and see if you can find a remover that truly works.

Very mild compared to other brands. I really love the stuff. I am assuming they still sell it. I have had my bottle for years. I hardly ever wear nail polish. When it is all gone I will be looking to get more for sure though. It is expensive but on the other hand you use so much less to get the job done. Like I mentioned above; I hear there is some good nail polish remover in the department store make up counters. If you can't easily get Mary Kay I would ask at those counters. The questions to ask to try and get the equivilant to Mary Kay is almost orderless and use very little. I am sure they should be able to let you test it before buying because most make up counters do make up and nails for customers. Another nice thing about Mary Kay is I bought it in there pump bottle. So you put your cotton ball or piece of tissue on the lead press down and it squirts out the remover. Some say they dont' like it because it squirts out to much. But if you have thick polich on your hands then one squirt or maybe two is about right.

I will have to try that. I use most of their facial products but haven't tried any of their nail products. Does it have a strong odor? I have been looking for something that doesn't announce to everyone who walks in my house that I recently took my polish off. :)

For removeding nail polish and also for apply toner to my face, I use quilted cotton pads that I get at the Dollar Store. They work alot better than anything else I have use because they do not fall apart like toilet papaer or paper towel and they don't leave fibers behind like cotton balls do.

I usually end up buying nail polish remover in a jar with a sponge in it. That way I just have to use the sponge to wipe off the nail polish since paper towels, tissues, and even cotton balls end up sticking horrible to the nail polish. I end up spending more time picking off the stray fibres then actually removing the nail polish. My friend uses q-tips (cotton swabs) which may sound weird but she swears by it. Apparently it is much better in taking off nail polish then cotton balls in her opinion...

Well my girlfriend first uses nail polish remover with cotton balls but that usually never gets it all off for her french manicure. So she makes me scrape off what's left with my fingernails.

I usually use paper towels(bounty). Cotton balls don't work for me at all and I find q-tips take longer and you have to use alot of them to get through both hands. But maybe I am doing something wrong.

I use q-tips sometimes, for the left over stuff that's there.

I hardly ever wear nail polish but if I do and I want to get it off I stick with cotton balls. It gets most of it off and I use toiletpaper or a vile to get away the rest.
(scrape of the last bits in the corners ;))

I have some nail polish remover pads that i use for my fingers so for that i don't need to use anything extra, otherwise i would use cosmetic pads if i was using liquid polish remover. Don't try tissus or loo roll - you'll end up using loads and it's not very good anyway!

I like to use q-tips because I don't get the nail polish remover on my hands. If you've ever gotten polish remover on your hands and accidentally put one of your fingers in your mouth while eating, you know what I'm talking about. That stuff leaves a terrible taste on your hands for at least a day, no matter how many times you wash your hands...stupid Bitrex. Sometimes I use cotton balls, but I usually hold it with a folded up paper towel so I don't get nail polish remover on my hands...yuck.
