On Halloween when the kids were younger we went to our parent's houses visiting

Especially when my oldest was little - he was too young to trick or treat so the first few years we "visited". Now that he is 8, we make plans with a few friends of his and we all go trick or treating and then to one of our houses and the kids play and we order pizza, etc. My parents usually come over after school when they first get home to see the kids and then we go on our way. Now my mother in law works and I explain to her that we will not be home but every year, her and my in-laws get in their car, drive like 20 minutes to get here and when we are not at home they start calling the cell phone and every year I am forced to come home because they are sitting outside my house. My kids get upset because they were having fun. Most of the time we have to leave BEFORE the pizza even gets there. I know tomorrow will bring the same thing...any suggestions? Do I not answer my phone or if I do, not come home when they call? I understand they want to see my kids for halloween but it's not fair to the kids to have to leave the "party" either. It's not just my mother in law that comes - it's my sister in law and her kid, etc.

I wouldn't go, I think the kids should enjoy the party.
