Promotion - of what???

Thanks for the advise. Maybe it is only temporary that I am overwhelmed. I am trying to delegate a bit now. I have to learn to trust other people that they can do it to be more pro active!!! thanks again

Yes, I think it is probably that you're overwhelmed with the promotion and you perhaps feel a bit more conscientious as you've been stood in the limelight a little more, with the extra responsibilities you've been given. However, the art of delegation is a good one to learn, because it will ease you of the pressure somewhat, and teach others that you are in a higher position, thus gaining you more respect with them. You don't have to be high-handed about it... just treat them as equals, but equals who owe it to you to get certain tasks done, thus enabling you to work on a higher plane. I have the feeling you're going to do very well at this... you have the right attitude and you don't refuse advice. That maketh a good man, and I wouldn't be surprised if you are promoted even further in the near future. Good luck in your future career, and please keep us informed as to your progress. hey darkwing, my response is a bit late. thank you. been trying to delegate some work to my next in line. and i think he is getting a bit overwhelm too. but slowly, he is getting used to the workload. i think i just need to be patient with everything. so now i stick to my list.

sorry to hear that esteph. for yoru sake i hope he gets the rise soon. as for me the money side that they promised materialized november 1. i hope it becomes real for you too.

Unfortunately it never came. Instead they told him that he had to do more duties and have less money. He is in the process of looking for another job.
