I have always thought the people who can do origami are so clever, I have never been able to even make paper planes, I posted a discussion on the paper fortune tellers that nearly every kid makes at school I was surprised to see on the net that they are called origami as well, and I couldn't even make them when I was a kid I had to get other people to make them for me.You must be very clever.

Well.. not that clever, hehe.. at first its was just my hobby... then later i started to collect and create more everytime im bored, hehe.. Back then at school our teacher in my art subject, gave us a step by step guide... hehe, so thats it... It started that day.. You don't really need to be clever to make an origami, it's naturally called "Paper Folding"... so its just easy, fold the paper and imagine things you want to make out of the paper.. and wholla! there is one origami in your hand! :P

My favorite is definitely the Flower Tower by Chris Palmer. I saw so many pictures of it but could not figure out the secret of its creation. It drove me crazy so I bought the book it was published in, Origami Tanteidan Convention No. 8. It was still very difficult because it only provided the crease pattern. I messed up several times, until I made my first decent one, 2 weeks after I bought the book and a month after I found the pictures. But the trial and error was the fun part! Now im crazy about them XD.

Oh and I also know how to fold that star on the window in the picture of you post. I love geometric and 3D origami; it is pleasing to the eye.

I like this art. I have only done the crane but I got me a couple of books to learn more. I haven't done this kind of stuff since I was younger. I would love to learn how to make paper flowers, I've seen pictures and think there so beautiful.
