I love all the members of my family and get along with everybody. My favourite is my big sister because we totally understand each other and can talk for hours. I don't get to see her often because we leave in different places and that's what makes us talk for long. We miss each other and whenever we get together we discuss all the things that happened in our lives until today

well i love everyone in my family they are all my life to me but if i had to choose i would say my mom.my mom is the greatest mom,who has done the best of everything she could do and loves me so much.i can talk to my mom about anything i had to and she is just a huge blessing to me.shes the one that carried me for those 7 months,i was born early,so we have that really close bond together.pattie

Of all the family members my mother is my favorite though I love them all because my mother has done the greatest contribution to the family on our way to being brought up.

Noone. Everyone has something special to offer, no matter how much they annoy me! I have no faves in anything really. If you asked me what I don't like, then that would be another story!

It is a toss up for me. My sister, Jodi and my mom are my best friends. I can tell them anything. I trust them both with my life. I have been through some rough times and without them, I don't think that I would have made it.

I believe that many will have same answer as mine. Anyway, its my mother that i like the most. Actually i like everyone, but my mother is the top most. After that everyone are equally loved and favourite.

We all like our mothers the best.But they have to treat us sternly so many times in order to make us a responsible adult.In this process many a times we find it difficult to call them our favourites.But when we grow up they again become our friends and hence become our favourites.

This is a hard one..I'm very close to all of my family...It's hard to pick one...I am the closest to my youngest daughter, my brother,my nephew,my grandson...Even though I love all my other daughters, my parents,niece,and my grandaughter I would do anything for all of them no matter what it was....

Do families still 'play the "favorite" game' ? because this might be part of the widespread dysfunctionality manifesting in households across the country. Do choose a favorite, make it obvious, lessens the integrity and bonding between any of the members not so liked, adored, appreiated or whatever. The whol family has its good and bad qualities, not truly better or worse people. We are all at capacity to be adored equally, why not honor it and stop playing the favorites game.
just a thought to promote world peace starting on the homefront . . .

Its not a game or any performing act.By having one or even more favourites means people whom we are more fond of and no we need not display it to undermine other members importance and bonding.Family is a unit wherein everyone should love,care and respect each-other.Still one or more members are so vocal,funloving or sensitive and inensely caring that your mind and heart is drawn towards them a little more than others.No matter how much we cry and shout but our hearts follow their own rule and I know for sure that those who are ruled by their hearts can never and never hurt others in making someone favourite(not by action but by feelings).
Any odd behaviour(favouritism or any other kind)displayed and manifested in action causing harm(emotional or even physical)should be strictly avoided and any and every normal loving family and its members don't resort to such mean means.Dysfunctional families don't come under this discussion.So no need to worry on that account.

My dad is my all time favorite in my family, but now that he is up in heaven, my mom's becoming my favorite.
