Open Source products are growing day by day, I have used many of them like joomla, pligg, moodle etc. These are such a nice tool. I think this is good for us to growth in Open Source Contributers but is that good for Commercial Products.

It is a good news to everyone that open source software is growing day by day. I also use a lot of open source software in my PC. Sometime, open source softwares can have better performance than the pay software. As an example, I feel that Mozilla Firefox is much much good and better than IE7. IE7 is suck and slow. I never use IE7 but I am using Mozilla Firefox all the time.
I wonder why someone can write the software without any reward and give it away as free software. Is it the quality of the software will be drop down since it is a free software?

No there is not the quality issue as I am a web developer and gone through the code that have written even much better code than payed software. I think we should donate to these type of products so that they can improve their products.

Yeah. Growing. Their are nice... however they are not as nice as the one that you can purchase... Sometimes, I did think that I downloaded them as waste... I never used them after trying them for how many days... kinda discouraging....
