We joined a profit sharing company a few years ago that really sounded good. In the beginning it was. We made some money and really piled in the points. Everybody was happy. Then things slowly started to change. The payout structure changed beyond all belief. But we stayed, we hung in there. The owner signed the company over to a group of people that were members. Things changed again including the name of the company. The pay scale was different. We started thinking that this was getting us nowhere. Now, they are changing the name of the company again.
It makes you wonder how many changes a company can go through and expect its' members to hang in there. We got tired of waiting for the right changes. We just saw it as money down the tubes.
Be careful when joining these so called get rich themes as they seldom, if ever, work.

Get rich quick...if only it were a reality. *sigh* Sorry to hear about such a bad experience.

Oh you will find everything and anything online lol. I have been involved also with some dodgy scams but as you grow with experience it gets better and now with the right contacts and the right businesses my liufe has turned around but it all needs patience and perseverence. If people get bitten once and then they say we can't make money online then it all depends on if any one is stubborn enough to find what really works for them. Yes there are many scams but ewually good opportunities also. I wish you a lot of good luck.

A few years ago we racked up quite a bit of debt, trying out sure things that made people all a bundle of money. Needless to say, I am very wary now. I have some good investments, and two jobs to try and recoup what I lost doing those things.

I had similar experience in my career.
I joined a company having good office, good sale, quite big staff.... everything looking rosy.
I was in middle management so my job was to take work from my subordinates. However, they were not quite reporting to me. They all were directly reporting to the top management only. I was their boss only for the designation purpose. And the most difficult thing for me was that I was responsible for their performance. I had to rate their performance periodically. When I would rate, the would be objections from the top management about my rating style.
I also tried to resigne and change the job, but the management some how persuade me to continue with them. Lot of promises were made but just within a month every thing forgotten...Ultimately I was left with no other alternative but to leave the job and look for some more suitable job for me.
