Snuggles is my little helper.....

....when it comes to Buddy being a naughty boy that is. I was out raking leaves this morning for about an hour and a half. And Buddy, my big dog, kept coming to the side fence and either jumping up on it to watch me, or sitting there whining at me (as if I'm going to let him out....ya RIGHT!LOL) At the same time Snuggles would sit there just quietly and calmly watching me. But each time I would tell Buddy to get down, or to be quiet, she would bark at him and chase him around as if to say "do what mommy tells you or I'm going to get you good!". It was so funny that I would end up just standing there laughing at them. I think I will have to give Snuggles a nice treat for being such a good helper. LOL

That's so cute! I don't really have any helpers per se but Duchess usually wakes me up if I don't hear my alarm clock and Cinnamon seems to think my ears need a good cleaning when I'm on the toilet because she gets on my lap and starts licking my ears. She's so funny!
By the way, I'm going to be posting something later today that has an impact on all of us in this country regarding Social Security benefits so keep an eye out for it.

LOL!! Thats what Spam and Spud do to Little... its like they're her parents! And, just like a kid, she doesn't listen... she barks back, or jumps on their heads, or runs away! I swear that 'child' has no fear of anything... she's either the equivalent of a three-year-old or a teenager, I'm not sure which!

We had one, and she settled down nicely... after 4 years. So I was sure we could handle another... we've only had Little for 4 months and she's worn me out, and STILL refuses to be housebroken! At least she uses the pads now... mostly... (sigh!)

My dog is so smart that she loves to catch them in the air as they are falling and then spit it out and go after another one. Here's my question, how do I train her to put them all in the same place for me...lol...would I call her a dog catcher?? Or a leaf rake???

Good idea...Get the other dog to be your helper... I bet she is just sick and tired of you yelling at Buddy so she is taking it upon herself to straighten him out...LOL...Come and rake my leaves now pretty please PPP.....LOL
