What's with all the ex Y&R people popping up on The Bold and the Beautiful?

I watched B&B years ago when Sheila and Morgan was on (Morgan is my fave character), but not anymore. They always focus on Brooke and Ridge's relationship and that is REALLY boring and annoying. The only soap I watch now is Eastenders on PBS Sunday nights. This soap is actually realistic and one viewing of this show will probably make you think about how American soap operas suck lol!

Personally, I don't watch Y&R, just catch glimpses of it now and then while I wait for B&B to come on. Soap opera stars do a lot of touring of shows. I think some of them prefer the soap life because they have a consistent schedule. As The World Turns has had a couple of former All My Children actors join their show. Actually, one joined B&B (Rick). And if you were around back when Another World was on the air, you would see actors from that now-defunct show on all sorts of other soaps. There is, however, a connection with Y&R and B&B and that is that they are both created by the Bell family. They are also both filmed on the west coast whereas most other soaps are filmed in New York. "Molly" left As The World Turns because she wanted to be on the West coast. She was on Y&R and is now on B&B. Really, I only started watching As The World Turns because when Another World ended Jake went there. So I followed him. He is no longer there now (don't know where he is). It is good if the actors can retain the same character (ie Amber from B&B and Y&R), but can be hard when they become different people.
