Vacation over!

I wonder if anyone even knew I was gone? I got someone to stay with my husband, while I flew to Texas and spent several days with my sister and her family. We had a great time and they spoiled me rotten. I got to fly with my great-nephew (see discussion "Flying High", toured the Old Ft. Worth Stockyards and ate like there is no tomorrow. It was a great break for me. Now I am catching up on everything. Does it seem like things pile up on you when you go on vacation?

Believe me susieq I was wondering where you had disappeared to...i checked your page to see you hadn't logged in for awhile...Naughty naughty of you to disappear and not tell us.. :(
I'm glad you were able to get away for awhile and take a break from all your regular routines....And good luck in trying to catch up...I can't even catch up, WITHOUT being on vacation...yeesh!

im very happy because you always find time responding to any of my questions. it is good u found someone to accompany your husband while you were away. is it common there to leave husband behind? im very happy that finally you got the long waited vaation. i know you could eaily catch up with the things you left...

My husband is ill and cannot travel. I am his main caretaker. That's why I needed a vacation and also needed someone to stay with him. I'm still catching up, but it was worth it! Glad to hear from you. It's been awhile!

I am SO glad you got to get away for a vacation! You take care of other people so much it is time someone took care of you. : ) Was your husband really excited to see you? Did his eyes light up? Vacation does overwhelm me a bit when I start to come back. I think of everything I need to do to catch up.

Yes, he was very excited to get me home again, although he said he and his daughter really had some good bonding time. Thanks for missing me.
