Diabetes is on the most common endocrine disorder. Some might just need a simple diet control, others might need oral medications or insulin. Discuss how you have tackled your diabetes.

Last january I got diabetes type 1. I've never been overweight or had very unhealthy habits, so getting diabetes hasn't brought that much change in my diet or lifestyle. The only thing I've had to get used to is to take my insuline before every meal and always remember to have some chocolate with me wherever I go... (I try to stay positive, but of course it can be a pain in the a** sometimes too...)

proper diet and exercise along with treatment is crucial.
-Take plenty of food rich in fiber, like green leafy vegetables, whole wheat bread, salads etc.
-Avoid sugar, obviously and colas and other junk food.
-Do not skip meals, and take meals in time.
-exercise at least for 30 mins/day
-constantly monitor you blood sugar level with a glucometer.

I was diagnosed for Diabetes in 1992. To start with,I used to take Insulin for about 5 years. thereafter i learnt about Amrutha Naturopathy Camp and stayed there for 2 weeks. They made us take long walks, massages, Yoga aasanas, diet control. I did not thereafter need Insulin. After some period, my routine relaxed a little & Diabetes relapsed. I am now again on oral pills, & exercises. One can lead almost normal life if proper care is taken.

Are you suffering from diabetics? What is your age. You should totally change your eating habbits and exervice strict diet regimen which can reduce cholestrol, sugar, fat etc. I do exercise or atleast walking. I do not brood over spilt milk. I enjoy life as it comes. I do not watch sad films. I see more of comedy film. I reduce anger and do not get perturbed over small things.
