i dont know how to express my present situation, simply i graduated from university in my country and i got bachelor's degree. The common process for me is to find a good job, deep down, my major is excellent not only in my school but also in my country. it's esay to find a good job. But my father want me to go abroad for further postgraduate study. Therefore,i have been in another country to study.Unfortunately,i should get through the langugage before i enter into uni.I dont know whether it is a waste of time. Now,i feel confused.I dont know why i go abroad.I want to earn money only by myself

If you don't want to go don't go. You're an adult you can make your own decisions regardless of what your father says. Have you been looking for jobs now? Is the only reason you would go to please your father? You have to live your own life no one else can do it for you.

The one thing every person owes themselves is to be happy, money is not everything, sometimes I know one has to make sacrifices for the future but be true to yourself as every single person has a journey to travel and must do that in their own way. I know parents try to direct you to the right path but it is your journey and to be happy is what life is all about.

yes,I agree with you. The parents just try to direct me to the right way, but in my opinion, that's like a big pressure for me.Parents ofen demind me to do something that they feel right, never consider my feeling. I just want to be relax and experience my new life in Melbourne. Thanks for your reply.Have a good Melbourne Cup festival tomorrow!

Congratulations on your degree. I think the idea of furthering your studies is a good one. And learning English would be a good step to take. If I can offer any advice it would be to take whatever opportunities come your way because without a good grounding, a great education, life can be very difficult. For you to be in another country and studying must b e a great adventure. are you making friends? Having a food time as well as working hard. You are only young once. Time enough to settle into a job that will tie you down. Good luck.

I agree with everyone else. There are some things in life that have a choice. This situation gives you a choice. Just remember you can make your own choices now, but, you can still obey your parents. All I'm saying is to just think it out and then make your decision. It's a good way. Hope you get a good job!
