Do u remeber the fairy tales??????????????

Hi everyone.I hope most of us would have heard so many fairy tales in our childhood..But do we remember now?Recently a friend of mine asked me about Cindrella story i tried to recollect but atl ast i ended up in telling him Snow white tale...Later when another friend reminded me of shoes i remembered the story..Have u faced instances where you have forgotten few good cute small things that we have heard ?

Actually, I made a conscious decision to FORGET the fairy tales I heard as a child. I made that decision one day when, at 52 years old I realized I was still waiting to turn into a swan, still waiting for the prince to come along and rescue me. When I discovered that I was cultivating suffering in my life so that I could feel like I had earned my reward. And that as a result of those beliefs that I had cultivated in childhood (from the aforementioned fairy tales) I was not taking responsibility for creating the life I desired. I do like Faerie stories though! And even today when I walk through the woods I look for those nature spirits out of the corner of my eye.
