If the person has never seen a color, I can't see how they can visualize it in their minds. I mean, you can tell them that a tomato is red so at least they know what color it is but how the heck can they see it? I can imagine they dream in black and white, don't know for sure.`

I was just watching this movie, called Mask. And the guy there was explaining the blind girl the colors and he explain it like this. The red color is warm , you can put to her hand something warm, or almost hot and when you want to explain her blue, you can put her ice to her hand or something call. Also I remeber the guy explain her white as a cotton balls.I think this is pretty good technique, don't think so?Hope I helped you and you friend would understand.

Colors are most often associated with feelings or emotions. And so perhaps the easiest way to describe the color red to a blind person is to tell him to imagine being angry. Red is the color most often associated with it, perhaps due to the strength that this emotion evokes. Red could also be associated with heat. The blind can't see but they can feel. And so perhaps let him feel the heat of fire for him to imagine what red might be.
