Are your children already making up their Christmas wish list?

We've just got past Halloween, and my little kid is already talking about Christmas gifts. She wants something Elmo and some more computer games. Every time the Fisher Price and Toys'r'Us commercials come on, she glues herself to the television. Afterwards she walks around for hours talking about the toys she has seen. Last night, I caught her looking longingly at a Bouncy Horse from Fisher Price. I'm pretty sure she's way too big for it. But, it's nice to know she's thinking ahead. Are your children already planning their Christmas wish list; dropping hints; making suggestions on what they want for Christmas?

My little guy wants every toy he sees. lol He's little enough that he won't be overly concerned about not getting the stuff, though. When he finds a toy that he played with a few months ago, but it got lost or something, he thinks it's new when he gets it out again. We've already done most of our Christmas shopping for him. Everything we've bought is stuff that I'm sure he would put on a list, if he was making one.

There are lots and lots of adverts about toys on television at the moment. I think it is to get parents to buy their children these toys. They make the toys look great to play with, so exciting and very much fun. My son, aged 12, has already spotted a few things that he would like to have for Christmas. My sister's children watch more television than him and have plenty of ideas of all the things they would like to get. One of them has a birthday this week and whilst buying that in early November I began thinking of the children's Christmas presents. I have a baby and he will get a lovely present but he can't say what he would like just yet.

My son, is 14, and has already given us his list. He is going to get a huge letdown for Christmas, if he thinks he is going to get all those high priced items. His list includes a laptop, PS3, or XBox360, a flatscreen tv, portable Dvd player, a futon. He must think we are made of money.

My son is three, and has been talking about a toy he saw at walmart for more than 2 months already. It's a big MacK truck from the movie Cars, unfortunantley, he will not recieve it from US for Christmas, as he already owns a Mack truck, and We are only getting him one small gift and then a big gift, and I can't see the point of getting him something he already has (this other mack talks, and that's really the only difference) So, unless his grandpa or someone else buys it, he won't be getting it for Christmas like he has been telling us for 2 months now. (: I think he'll get over it though. He's getting a power wheels and then we'll buy him a rocket of some sort, we've been looking for one all over the place and the only one we can find is one intended for baby's (which we are buying his little brother). Anyways, maybe He gets it from me, after July 4th, i'm usually ready for Christmas! (:

I think my kids starting talking about this year's Christmas list last Christmas night...lol!! It's definitely been since after Easter. I understand how excited they get and every time a magazine comes in the mail or a Christmas catalog - they are ripping it out of my hands so they can pick their gifts. Have you been to the stores - even they are decorated for Christmas! Ahhh - to be young again....

They havent just yet. I dont think they realize how close christmas is. I give it another couple weeks and thats all they will talk about. I went to toysrus.com and started looking around to see what I could find. I have already started my list and have an idea of what it will cost..so I can save some cash.
