What is your favourite cat breed?

Turkish Angoras are beautiful cats, but my when it comes to paying for a breed of cat, I would rather pay for a Burmese, which are dependent little kitties who are very people-oriented. Burmese personalities are almost dog-like in a tendency to shadow their owners and in a desire to give and receive affection. Many Burmese have delighted their “humans” by learning to retrieve. They love warm laps and caressing hands and enjoy cuddling up in bed either under the covers or on top of their favorite persons. :-) Now i have never paid for any cat and was fortunate enough to have been given one, but I wouldn't have bought the cat, as I prefer to adopt strays for free or a small fee!
