Do you ask for help?

Eversince I was little, I have been that stubborn little girl who doesn't accept to be defeated by anything... I never liked something staying in my way and I alway do my best to solve it myself... I guess I'm too proud to admit I'm not able to do something and I know this isn't something I can really brag with. But anyhow, I sometimes admire myself for not whining about every little obstacle that stands in my way (am I modest or what? lol)

I usually try to figure things out myself because I think it's the best way to learn. But if I do get stuck, I definitely will ask for help especially if the thing is time sensitive. You could lessen the feeling of being ashamed by admitting it or saying, "It might sound stupid but I really need your help on this one..."

I am not ashamed to ask for help. If I need help I will ask. That is how most of my discussions on here start because I only start a discussion when I need help or advice. But if you're talking about anyplace else yes I still ask for help if needed. :)

I used to be stubborn and try to figure it out all by myself. But the older I get the more I realize that all I have to do is ask someone and not waste precious time trying to figure it out on my own.

For any issue I will straight away be an extrovert, I don't want to waste my time for concise answer. Of course with my meticulous manner on asking. For me asking is an effective gaining. Learning process is actually asking and answering activities. Quality learning is understanding answers from questioning.

First I would try by myself , when I consider I can not solve ,I would ask someone for help.

I ask anyone for the clarification.Even O have learnt a lot of things from my daughter of 6th grade.Well whether you ask them or not they always know how intelligent are you.

i almost always ask for help. why waste time trying to figure something out.

I ask for help. Many years ago I used to work out everything on my own until I found something that I cant solve. Its comes from my background in which I have to depend on myself everytime. I try my best but still I cant solve a problem that I have until I have sleep difficulty, stress, headache, etc. It takes me years to realize that I need help and trust others. Now I am open to and appreciate help from others whether it is personal or work related. People are great and I havetrust in them now!

If someone is nearby to help me, i will without any speck of doubt ask for help,and if the sought help is turned down by that person, then i will become too stubborn and will go all the way on my own, and see to that i accomplish the thing. On the other hand if some asks me for a thing which i know, i will teach the all the nuances of the subject, where the likely difficulties are to come by,etc.. and this has been my habit all thorough these days.

well i would try it myself until i couldnt figure it out,then i will ask for help from someone.i am very stubborn but if i dont ask for help i will never know the answer i am looking for.

I would ask for help if I really need it, esp. when I don't have any idea about what I need to do next. Andy

I have a really hard time asking for or excepting help. I don't know why but I will usually figure it out or find a way of doing it myself. I have moved some incredibly heavy furniture with 2 mop handles. I guess I have had to figure out things by myself for so much of my life that it has just become a way of life. I will however ask for directions. LOL

i always ask for help. sometimes it looks like im a stupid already. but thats fine! im stubborn but i know it doesnt hurt if someone helps you.

hello laurika, actually it depends on the situation and on the problem. If the problem that i cant solve is really just easy I mean if it only needs your common sense or thing like that to finish it I would be ashamed to ask for some help. So what I would do is just to try my best to figure it out with out any help from anyone. But if the problem or the situation is really tough i would really go ask someone for some help. Besides theres nothing bad about asking someone for help. I guess this is also a good thing cause in this way you would find more ways on how to solve your problem. ^_^

If I can not solve the problem, I would try by myself first before I ask for help.

I would like to figure it out any issue by myself. Sometimes i just left if i could not understand the things.

Hi Laurika, Well I guess it would depend on what I needed help with. Most times I will try and find the answer on my own, and work it out. Sometimes people just need help and asking someone for it is ok. Especially if your in a hurry and you need an answer or help fast! lol Its a lot easier to just ask someone rather than looking for the answer on your own. If I was you I wouldnt feel ashamed!! If there is someone around who can tell and explain to me everything, I will surely ask for help to that someone. But I have only myself or others that doesn't know about it also, i wil be patient enough to learn it on my own. I will not stop until i discover how.

Well i ask for help when i do not understand something i think that is better to ask and do not loose precious time by doing it your way.For example when i do not know something i ask friends from mylot for help.
