Maybe another type of small series of books, that would be nice. You never know. She might be surprising us! She is very well known for the Harry Potter books.

I'm hoping that J.K. Rowling will continue the story with a new series about the next generation. She certainly set herself up for that in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Who's to say that Voldemort didn't leave an heir somewhere? This series could continue with changes in Hogwarts under a new headmaster, the story of Tonk's son, etc.
I can never say enough that, being a teacher, I consider Harry Potter to be one of the best things that ever happened to get young readers to reading. It was a joy to see kids who had never read anything engrossed in huge Harry Potter books.

Jk rowling has been my favorite author. I started reading harry potter 7 years ago. It was not as hyped as it is now. And loved it. I'm glad the series ended. I wanted to grow out of it. There are rumours that she is going to try writing other kinds of novals and maybe a Harry potter encyclopedia too. Because she and warner bros took court action on Lexicon (online harry potter encyclopedia) as it was thinking of publishing a book on the extensive data they have collected so far.

i love Harry Potter, but personally, if JK Rowling wrote yet another series or novel, i wouldn't want it to be like Harry Potter anymore. i'm hoping she'll give us some new surprises, so that we will have new stories to admire and pretty much obsess about. Harry Potter is Harry Potter--i dont think JK Rowling will be able to top that, in people's eyes. it would be fun to read a new genre from this talented author, because i know she has a whole lot more of writing style to show us.

J.K. Rowling is a very talented author. I would love it if she wrote some more books like the Harry Potter series. I heard that she has written seven one off books in her own handwriting with illustrations that she has drawn. They are going off to be bid on and the bids are starting at thirty thousand pounds. All the money raised she will donate to a children's charity. I think that is a lovely thing for her to do to help less fortunate people.

As a Harry Potter fan (sort of) I'm quite happy with the way things are. The series have ended, we know what happened to everyone (even though I hate the epilogue with a burning passion) and that's that. There's always fanfics.

I like Harry Potter too. One day I read it almost all night, I could not stop:_) I think J. K. Rowling will not write more novels like Harry Potter, but I hope it´s not true:)

No way. You cannot repeat the success of Harry Potter. She needs to write something totally different. The story ended with Book 7 as far as I'm concerned. I heard that she is planning on writing an encyclopedia of sorts on the Harry Potter characters & such. That would be great. I loved the Harry Potter books - I just think that she should leave well enough alone. It's great that the story got kids reading again.

Personally I was never a fan of Harry Potter, but I understand the "hype" around it. I would not want J.K. Rowling to writing books similar to Harry Potter, if she decided to start writing another book then I would want it to be on a whole new story. If she kept writing books that were similar to Harry Potter or was like it, then there would have been no need to actually end the series itself with the seventh book (she could have actually continued if somehow).

Yes, I do want to read more books written by J.K. Rowling.
Harry Potter is the best book I have ever read. It made me laugh, cry, imagine things, places, and events I have never been into (and I think it will never happen) at the same time... The twists are unimaginable... Really great and fits for every age.
I hope J. K. Rowling will write other books as wonderful as Harry Potter have been.
