When I was a little girl. I got a clock as a gift. I had it and was almost immediately depended on it. I always had it with me every where. But since I grow older I have put it away. You can not live your life planed with time anymore. So I no longer use it, I know I always will be on time since I always make shore to have the time needed for the things that must happen a certain time.
At work I give medicine on time, knowing that I have no clock. But I always know the pills will be given in time anyway. This since they always get the medicine with the food. And every time is the same thing. At work we have the same time for eating, and since you get them to the kitchen on time, they always get their medicin on time. I have noticed that I do not need the clock for this.
I no longer live my life from the clock. Do you?

Well...I do. I definitely need the clock to plan my time. I have a school going son and was working earlier...so I needed to time everything right if we needed to get anywhere on time. But now that I have a younger child and am a stay at home mom, I have no time for anything. Now I have household help and we are slowly getting back to routine and my clock has come handy again. I also tend to get carried away and not know the time when I am doing certain things...so I definitely need the clock to remind myself not to overdo certain things.

My friend keeps telling me all the time to let things be (it doesn't really matter if you haven't dusted one day)....I tried it and I was stressed the whole day. I don't think I can function without putting things in place first and that's very difficult with a 11 month old at home.
But you are right, I have to loosen up.

There are some times when I do get stressed up to. Like the time of the year. November have reached us here and now I do get stressed out. Beside the working time, I also have to find out Christmas presents for Christmas. I am stressed out with this since I do not know what to by. My budget tells me that I do not have much to put on for gifts to the family. And I am frustrated with this. Since the wishes they tend to have cost a lot. This has no little to do with the clock timer, however the days fly by fast and soon you realize it´s time to go shopping.

The only time I carry away are when I am on the puter. Then the time goes so fast. It is when the kids ask for the dinner I notice I have been there to long. However, when I do work, and make household work I have always time for all the must do things. But some of them i put up for another day. You should not stressed out with all the must things do. Since I feel there are no longer such things. You do what you have to do in your own time.
Thanks for the respond and have a nice day

I don't actually live my life from the clock. But I think I live my life from my organizer. I guess that's one thing I can't wear off me. I usually organize my day by planning my usual daily routines. That way, I am able to review my accomplishments before I go to bed. Most of the time, I am able to accomplish my daily work even before my expected time is over. Then I am able to do other things that I had not planned for the day. However, certain things come up, every now and then. These are times, when, whether I like it or not, I have to do away with my plans for the day. That is, at least for the moment. After that, I would still go on with my daily routines.

It seems to me that without the clock on your arm you seems to have time for more things to do in one day. Because I always felt like time is chasing me more than I chasing time.
So I just put the timer away. And I always seems to have time to all the tings I want to do besides work.
Thank you for the respond and have a nice day

Yes that is right. The timer is to make shore you get to your appointment in time. However, I have never missed any appointment even though I do not check the timer to often. I always make shore I have enough time to get there.
Here is the thing. The days I do not work, I make a list of my must do things. I start in a certain time and than i do not look at the timer before that list is done. I always seems to get some time over to do more fun stuff like sit at the puter and surf and make some easy money. Since this is for fun, I always make shore I do the must do things first so the home do not fall a part.
But I do have time of the year when I get stressed out. And that time is now. Because It is time to start thinking of Christmas presents. I never know what to by and when I finally do I have spend I hole day just shopping. I do not like that. I want some time to do the shopping since I like Christmas shopping but without stressing out of it. I like to see the stores decorated but if you have to shop for a hole day, and get around a lot of shops you do not notice the beautifully decorations the owners have put time in to make.

You know Im very much thankful with the high technology that we have today, before we have alarm clock only, but know we have a cellphone with alarm with reminder that you can saved all, to-do list, or a reminder which reminds us, so that we cannot not forget our important task. it keeps reminds us to wake up early in the morning.remember that time is Gold, you cannot turn back the time if you're wasting your time for nothing. time is very important, thats why we need clock to let us know if this is a time to work, to rest, to eat, a time for yourself, a time for your family, and a time to rest forever only God knows.

I to use my cellphone as a wake up call every morning I have to get up early. I would not wake up without it. It is a great thing. But I only use the timer for waking up. The rest of the day I have time for all the must things anyway. I feel less stressed in that way.
Thanks for responding, have a nice day

Me to like to be flexible during the day. I make a list of the must do things and do them in the order I have made. I like to see the things disappear from my list and see that I have more time for more fun stuff that I thought I would not have. some things take long time to do, other things do not.
Thank you for your respond and have a nice day.

I do not like that at all. That make you feel stressed. When I put away my timer, I felt less stressed. You should try doing that. I always try to start do something instead of looking at the time. When my college comes and are going to work after me, I know it´s time to go home. So I make others make shore I go home in time.
Thanks for respond, have a nice day

I had a clock at middle school, everyday I go to school at 6.30a.m.
I want more sleep, so I had to give up breakfest.
studing is hard and Tasteless, but too much homework,
when i finished it , I found the time alaways at 11.00p.m.
I want to sleep, so I need a clock to wake me up,T_T
lucky, I past that hell time, now I had a nice mobile ,
and it's also can be a clock.
make your Noisy clock more useful, the sounds wake you up, mobile ring is better than that sounds from the clock, I think so :-D

I also use my cellphone as a wakeup call every early morning. It has the best sound. I agree with you there. And without the timer, I seems to have time for more things than if I use it during the day. So I do not longer chase the time, and the time are no longer chasing me. I have time for all the things anyway.

I have not worn a watch in many years. I hate to be a slave to time and having to know what time it is all the time. If I have to be somewhere at a certain time then I care because I don't want to be late otherwise I don't care to keep track of the time.

Yes, and since I put it away It seems to me I have time for all the tings I want to do in one day without being a slave of the time. You are less stressed out in the evenings thinking of all the tings you did not have time to do.
Thank you for the respond and have a nice day.

planing time is important. But I do not use clock to do that. When I want to plan my time, I will think about the sequence and write down it. I put the important thing first and then arrange others. I think it makes me feel no hurry. So, I will finish things quickly and save much time. It is a good habit.

Hello and thank you for the respond.
I to plan my time during the days when I am free from work. I write down things I MUST do. And do them without a clock timer. I do them and than take them away after I have done them. It´s pretty nice to see the things disappear from the list and knowing I have done it in less time I thought it would take. It give me more free time to use for others more fun things to do....like see a movie, be on puter, go for a walk or whatever is more fun than the must do things.
