linkin park is a boy band or a rock?

O_O? Who says Linkin Park is a boy band? That's the first time I hear about this. They are rock band. They started as a new metal band but on the newest album they took a step forward into more "trdicional" rock gitar music. For me to be a boy band it means that all guys must be focused on singing instead of playing instruments with one or two vocalists.

Even i have thought a lot but i think they belong to rock their songs are so nice i just love them like anything

Hello there. Linkin Park is definitely a rock band. Boy bands are groups like Backstreet boys, N Sync and etc. Boy bands do not usually play instruments. They usually sing and dance. Linkin Park is no way like a boy band. They are much better than that. =D
