I am sorry to see Sara go. I really like her character on the show. I also like the Sara and Grissom thing going on. It's a shame she is leaving just after they agree to get married.

I think the whole marriage thing was a way of getting Sara to leave the show. If they are married they can't work together. They have had a relationship for several years yet the viewers only just saw it half-way through last season.

I agree with ksifford maybe we will see some little Grissom's maybe we should let the writers know what we want to happen.

Thanks for sharing! I suspected as much after that one little line she had on last night's episode about not being happy. I haven't warmed up to "Ronnie" yet but I guess it will come in time. I actually thought tey were going to kill her off already last night (with the hope of course that that would be the surprise way of keeping Sara!)

I figured Sara was leaving, but I did not want her to get killed and I did not want the "Killed at the steps of the chapel" or wherever the wedding would take place. I hear that the next episode will be a Crossover with Without a Trace and they are looking for a missing boy (I hope they find him alive!) and I was wondering whether it would include a honeymoon in the Big Apple.
Well I hope Sara comes back in a future episode. One thing I would like to see, in a year or so, Sara visiting Grissom with the baby who is wearing a black t-shirt with the inscription "Future Member of CSI!" :)

I do remember reading about that episode. I didn't realize it was next week. I really doubt they won't find the kid alive. I believe Without a Trace usually comes up with a live person at the end.

Well I watched the episode tonight when she left. I hope it isn't a permanent thing. I like her character on the show and I think her leaving permanently would do some serious damage to the ratings. In my opinion, the jury is still out on the new girl. I haven't seen anything real impressive out of her yet.

Hi,
I am not surprised about Sara leaving.
In the last episode she expressed something negative about her job. I think it had to do with the fact that the csis don't make a difference in the crime situation or something similar. She may have also mentioned feeling disheartened about the grimness of the job.
She is a good character.
I can't help but wonder who will be replacing her on the show.
:-)

I watched CSI last nite, Nov 1st, and I thought I saw a new girl. Maybe that is the replacement. I saw the same indications that you saw on her dissatisfaction with the show. All these people leaving the different shows maybe want more money and they don't get it.

We have known for awhile Sara was leaving. They have already brought in a newbie (Ronnie) who I don't like too much. BUT, it has been said by both Jorja Fox and writer/producer that she will definitely be returning to the show at some point.

I have a feeling that she will be a walk in every once and awhile just to keep the character going. I don't think she will ever be back on the show full time though.

Sara wasnt that dinamic but she did complement Grissom. I think they will Marry in the future and she will return.

It was clear that she was going to leave this year. She refused to sign a new contract with a raise last year. This isn't news, as some sources are trying to act like its a surprise. I guess there just isn't any news to report.
