Which is stronger?

I would like to say the answer is 100% love. But sadly it is more than often seen that rage can out do love. How often have we hurt someone we loved out of rage. Even if its just by saying a cutting remark amidst an argument to gain the upper hand. Sometimes love can repair the damage and sometimes the rage will continue the distruction. I am a peaceful person and I do not like to argue or be nasty to anyone, although i cant deny that my temper has got the better of me once or twice. But that should mean my love is stronger than my rage right? What happens if someone threatens those i love so much? Rage would take over. The truth is I don't think there is an answer lol
