Parents

There are a lot of times people would do this. Often older people with certain illnesses need more care than someone who isn't a health care professional could give in their home. So I can understand putting your parents in a home if they have needs you simply can't meet. I would put my parents in a home for other reasons, because they abused me as a child. I have post-traumatic stress disorder, and having any of my relatives in my home like that would cause me to trigger constantly, meaning I would be constantly terrified and unable to function. So there's no way I could take care of my parents, even if I wanted to, which frankly I don't. They haven't earned it.
