To iPhone or not to iPhone

My husband and I thinking of switching to AT&T so we may both have iPhones. Is there anyone out there that would be willing to give me some input on the pro's and con's of the iPhone and/or the service offered from AT&T for iPhone?

Some of the Iphone's programs are not yet available for use in some places. But this will not take forever...it its only so because it just came out of the stores...

I don't personally have the iPhone but I am hearing that it is not as wonderful as it seems. I heard the reception on the AT&T networks is not very good in some places and you will get a lot of static or be cut out. But again, I don't have one myself...this is just word of mouth
