Why do referrals never write?

So you have a few friends you have referred to Mylot and they have written one or two articles and then stopped. Why do they do this?
Do you have a way of helping out your referrals to get kick started again on mylot?
Any ideas on how to get more referrals apart from family and friends?

My referrals is mostly all sleep too. They just sign in, but not continue to write a post or responding a post. One or two still online but they are very slow.
This a clasical problems looking a referral and try them to be active member. May be they don't believe mylot its really pays or their earning at the beginning is arised very slow. And they can't take it.
I have 17 referrals, one a bit active, but most of them are asleep and login once just for checking. But don't post anything.
This is pathetic.

You know why they have given up, because fact is most people are too lazy to type. They look at this as a way to make money. SO when they type 15-20 posts and see they only got a few pennies for their effort their turned off. But they fail to realise that they type in other forums regardless if there's any money involved. This is a place to have fun and speak on topics that interest you not necessarily to make money. Having that mentality will make your stay here much more appealing to whoever joins this site. It can also be that they simply are way too busy working or having fun to worry about us at mylot ;)

I referred my husband here and he left after typing 20 posts hehehe
He just can't stand it typing all the time. the other referral I have has got a new job as a manager so I guess he doesn't feel like mylotting anymore since he earns a lot higher now. good for him :)
I still love being here although I'm not that active anymore

I invited a lot of friends. But only two or three accepted my invitiation. And those who joined are not participating actively
The reason may be they are not interested. They can not see any immeidate income in mylot.
