Are there any really good sites to shop? With Christmas around the corner I'd like to not go through the awful after Thanksgiving rush. Ive done Walmart.com and Target.com and am not really impressed with Amazon. Suggestions?

I did most of my shopping last year online, I had a broken leg, really had no choice. But Walmart and Target were great. I even did the day after Thanksgiving Shopping online. Got up at 5:00 in the morning and set at the computer. I have to admit, that was frustrating. The Computer kept stalling, once it would connect I would get a message that something was sold out. I am not sure which was worse, Fighting the crowds or fighting the computer connection.

I would much rather fight with the computer as it is not as crazy as the people at Wal-mart the day after Thanksgiving. I hope to do nothing that day other than look at the computer and possibly do mylot. I know it won't be crazy here!!

Have you tried ebay? You can get some pretty good deals on things that you wouldn't normally find on other sites. I've done a lot of my holiday shopping on ebay and it's been really good. I've been able to pick up so very unique stuff because you have a world market open to you and in most cases shipping costs are very reasonable.

You could try Tigerdirect.com. I've purchased tech equipment from them from time to time. I have been rather leery of buying things from ebay, simply because any old disreputable person can try selling junk. There might be ways to make a bad sale right, but it seems more complicated than talking to an established seller.
