Anyone think they might continue a storyline?

Is there any chance they might continue some sort of storyline with the Halo series? I'm interested in all forms of Halo stories, I swear i missed something between Halo 2 and Halo 3. The jump threw me completely off. Plus, they left master chif asleep in the final game, leaves open for possibilities if you ask me. :D just looking for opinions.

it confused me to halo 3 was way to short only 8 level i beat it in 6 hours it was not worth 60$

Yeah probably not but ill use it for the multiplayer anyway, deffinately not worth $60 in storyline material... but what you gonna do?
