Limits to Claires Healing??

Several issues, really. First, the Kensai character also has healing and is apparently very difficult to kill. He has the same power. In any common battle, Kensai could be weakened by injury -- it takes time to heal -- and then beheaded. He apparently defeated 90 angry ronin, so I suppose the regeneration power is quite potent. One fan theory is that the Company needs a serum to negate powers so that they can kill Kensai.. who's regeneration might just have kept him alive even to the modern era. (After all, why the plot of Hiro going back to meet Kensai if he's not important for the current story somehow.) So, Claire's regeneration might be quite formidable indeed. Personally, I would be leery of letting any 'evolved' hero survive having their head cut off. However, the designers of the story might have a different angle planned if Kensai is supposed to be included in the modern time plot.

okay I hate to sound like an idiot; but who is claire? Is she a character in a book; movie or TV show. if so which one & can you give me a little background info?

hmmmmm are you guys outside the uk and only just watching season 1 of heroes? we've had the full season 1 here in the uk and it does show claire as having one weakspot but then it also seems to be the same weakspot that peter petrelli has i'm not going to give it away as you havn't seen it but as far as claire being killed and being unable to regenerate after something i don't think that is how her persona is going to go, as far as decapitation that i'm also unsure about but it's an interesting theory though.

I think Claire can die of suffocation...or if she will be confined to a room without air. It's because is very vital for survival...it provides our body with oxygen. If there's not enough oxygen, vital organs will collapse including the brain. If the brain collapse, then there will no more control or coordination over the body....

I agree with the previous posters. Without her head, she would not be able to survive. On a side note...Can anyone say free-flow of organs for those in need? :D

This is a pretty amazing topic. Before Hiro warned of the "Save the Cheerleader,Save the World", there was a painting of Sylar killing Claire. We know how Sylar's MO.So, my guess is by taking her brain out could kill Claire definitely.

just move the brain from her body. Beheadedis the best way.Eventhough the cell generate automatically, but its still be controlled by the brain because brain is our main processor. Anyway, I hope i can have the Micah's ability. (Waiting for the next episode in season 2)
