What kind of books do you like reading?

For some reason, I never could get into fantasy even though I'll admit some of it is very well written. I like books that are fiction but are also literature. Two reason favorites are: The Secret History by Donna Tartt & The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd. Those were definitely my kind of books.

I pretty much read everything, but I enjoy fantasy, gothic romance, sci-fi, and mysteries the most. For non-fiction, I enjoy ancient world history and how-to books

I love reading in general. Though most of what I read is horror, mystery/thriller or fantasy, I'll give any genre a try. I also love books about espionage, suspense/thrillers and some chick lit (although not much). Then there are things that surprise me like The Lovely Bones, which I really liked. That's why I'll give anything a try.

I like to read just about everything. I go back and forth between fiction and non fiction and I cross genres all the time. I do enjoy fantasy books and even some young adult literature. I don't stick to a specific type of book. There are so many good books out there and I don't want to miss something great by sticking to only a particular type of book.

i really like fantsy and fiction and also horror.. i'll mention if there are any other genre's later... dont seem to remeber if there are any more. These books are really something diferent fromt normal... It lets you imagine a world totally new even though it may actually be present in our world. Yes... I also like books on philosphy. they are really books which gets your mind to think about things and matters you would have never thought about at all....

I like to read technical books,especially computer books.I am working as a network engineer and with out readng books,it is very difficult to upgrade my knowledge.I am get getting enough free time to read other types of books.

I like to read classical books, for example I like to read the italian poet Dante or Petrarch and other similar poets. However I like to read novels, too. My favourite writer of novel is Charles Dickens. In fact my nickname is taken from his "David Copperfield". It's one of my favourite books. It's very long but it's very very beautiful.

I did start by reading short stories, ghost stories and comics. But later I used to read novels once in a while. But now, I read more of philosophy and spiritual books. That's my favourite pick. :)

Same as you. I love to read horror book. It is just so exciting.
