A persom should or should not be satisfied at a point?

I am cofused.if a person is satisfied then he can never rise in his life,his aims and dreams will be small and hence he will have limited knowledge,limited heights,he will always remain unaware of the facts of life.And if he is not satisfied his greedness will never have any end.So what should a person do,satisfied or not.Every aspect has its own limitations and both the limitations can not be ignored.what does you people think about it??
