Do you carry an umbrella when you go out in the rain?

Believe me its true.i have no umbrella.i last used it 9 years ago.that time i was in my days of high school.in our school opens in june-july,heavy monsoon season.my parents had given me umbrella to in school.i always forgot to take my umbrella from my class room or anywhere i go.that year i lost 4 umbrella.so i took i decision that i wont use umbrella any more.

I don't use an umbrella. If it's raining, I will just walk or run really fast into where ever I am needing to go. I mean I probably only use an umbrella only about 10% of the time. To me it's just one more thing for me to carry!

If I have to walk ..then yes.. I do carry an umbrella if I know it's suppose to rain.. Other times..if the clouds are very light of color I risk walking without an umbrella. I love the feel of the cool raindrops falling on my face.

Not only do I carry a umbrella, but I have a rain bonnet too. I use the rain bonnet when it is misty or there is a lite rain.If I didn't, my hair would frizz.

I always travel by public transport, so it is a must for me to carry an umbrella during the rains. Sometimes i carry it even on a hot and sunny day to prevent myself from sunburn.

Yes, I do carry an umbrella when I go out in the rain. As a matter of fact, I carry the a small folded umbrella in my hand bag every day when I go out from my house. I ever experienced the "inside out" umbrella a few years back and that had made me more careful nowadays.

It rains here so rarely, that I do not even know where my umbrella ended up or if it is still usable. (We have had a grand total of 1.07 inches since Jan 1, 07.) I do have a vinyl raincoat that I wear if it si raining very hard and I can't wait it out, though. I have experienced the "inside out umbrella though in my youth when I used to live in a wetter area.

No, I have not been that fortunate, I seem to lose umbrellas as soon as I buy them, it is like they never make it home, when I need one, I never have them. I had 2 in my van, I had them there forever. I went to get them one night when I needed them and they were gone, the next day i went through my van and the were not there. I never used them!

I have an umbrella in my car. But.. that's about it. I wear hoodies a lot during the fall, spring and winter so I put my hood up most times. Also, I don't go out much especially when it's raining and I pretty much just don't care about getting wet so I rarely ever use my umbrella. It just sits in my car. and I never carry one with me. pshaw.

I do carry an umbrella when it is raining outside, and in fact, I carry an umbrella even if is not rainning since I need to make sure that I have got it ready when it does rain sometimes. Well, I don't have experienced about the inside out umbrella. Andy

I sometimes have outdoor supervision at work (I work at a school) so I bring an umbrella when it looks like it may rain that day. I like to use it even if it's only sprinkling because I don't want to get wet and I even use the umbrella if it's snowing. I hate feeling wet and cold. I have had the inside out umbrella thing happen when it's been really windy. It's probably really funny to anyone watching you but not so funny to you at the time.

Well, I used to go every where on my car, so I usually did not need an umbrella, but now that I live in a city with bus system (the other one did not have buses), I use the buses most of the time, and I got soaked wet couples times, so I decided to get an umbrealla, one of those little ones (you can carry on your purse), and since then I take it every where... so far about three weeks, and I only rained once... ;)

Yes,I do carry an umbrella when I go out in the rain.But now that we always go out in a car never have to use it much.But in my home town we get a lot of rain.We have a season called monsoon during that time it rains continuously for days.Could never leave the house without an umbrella for those 3 months.And yes...I had ended up with an inside out umbrella many times Also had to stand in the rain watch my umbrella fly away.lol.But unlike many I still loves rain.

I don't know how weird this is...but I have a strong dislike for umbrellas. I haven't carried one since I was a little kid, and even then I think it was just because my mom made me. I guess they could be handy in some situations. But like you mentioned, it is usually windy when it's raining, and an umbrella doesn't protect you from the 'sideways' rain. Maybe I'm strange, but umbrellas are not for me. So to answer the other question - No, I have never experienced the "inside out" umbrella, but I can imagine your frustration!

Yes, I have experienced the inside out umbrella on more than one occassion! Yikes! I always say when it's rainy looking that I am going to remember to take my umbrella inside with me when I get out of my car, but I seem to always forget to grab it. So, I get rained on, most all the time! You would think I would learn my lesson :)

It depends how hard it's raining. I have a lot of jackets that have hoods on them and just pull them up. Since I don't drive or have a car either it's kind of a pain to balance and carry groceries aand an umbrella and yes, even more of a nuisance when it's so windy that one gets an inside out umbrella so I usually give up on carrying one. If its a real deluge anyway, ever notice you still get soaking wet anyway??

well if it looks like it's going to rain then usually I'll bring along an umbrella, just to be on the safe side. If it's already raining heavily, then I've got no choice but to use an umbrella hehe. don't really like to use/bring an umbrella when I'm out, lazy to carry it hehe .

Yes I sure do because I don't want to get soaked. I've had my umbrella turned inside out a few times as well as taken right out of my hands too! LOL I felt like an almost Mary Poppins! LOL Thank goodness they're not too expensive anymore but it does add up when having to buy a new one so soon after buying one.

Well, im bringing a raincoat, instead of umbrella, coz im driving a motorcycle... My pasenger seldomly bring umbrella, coz its kinda dangerous, coz of the impact of the wind, when driving.. We first wear jacket, then followed by raincoat.. Then in the end, we're still wet allover, ahehehe!!

yeah i always bring umbrella everywhere i go i used it to protect me from rain and sun specially when summer hot i usually bring the small umbrella so i can fold and kept in my bag after used:-)
