I live in Florida and everywhere I look the Thanksgiving decorations are ALREADY up! since Nov. 1st! Halloween decor is ALREADY down I don't even know how, so quick? I think this is just too damn early and that they are trying to get us in the state of mind to spend money! I hate it!

In my opinion here is the run down of decorations.
October 1st you can start fall decorating and halloween decorating.
After October 31st Halloween should be gone and Fall can remain.
Thanksgiving can start November 1st.
and Christmas should not go up until AFTER thanksgiving at the least!

I would have to agree with this also. Too bad it doesn't work that way!

Thats nothing here in Michigan we have had Christmas decorations up since before Halloween. Stores are doing this because nationwide there sales have been really bad, so there trying to get people to spend more. Thats how they stay in business
I worked in retail for a few years. They usually start holiday decorating in August. I know it kinda sucks that they do this, but that is just the way it is and it works, so they will keep doing it.
