Why do you like Buffy the Vampire Slayer?

I love Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I own all 7 seasons on dvd. I even tried to go as Buffy for Halloween once. I find that I am constantly defending myself to others. I'm loud and proud about my obsession. Generally when I do say I like Buffy the Vampire slayer I get a lot of snickers! What do you say? WHat make Buffy the Best show?
