The 3rd books release date in the inheritance cycle has been anounced! September 28 2008! Not only that but it is not a trilogy anymore! Christopher Paolini said he had so much more to write that only one more book would be to big! It is now being called the Inheritance cycle.

Oh my gosh I am so exciteed! This is one of my favorite series and now it's going to be more than a trilogy. That's great news for all of us fans out there. But waiting almost another year for the third book is going to be very hard. Thanks for the update. I for one am looking forward to reading more of the Inheritance books.

I am excited that I now know the release date, the title, and the cover art. I am probably going to pre-order Brisingr as soon as I get the extra cash. I was so thrilled when the title was anounced. I even called up some of my friends to tell them. Has anyone else pre-ordered Brisingr?

I did think that there seemed to be more than a few loose ends that needed to be tied up. I mean, enough that a fourth book would be a necessity. I'm really glad that Paolini decided to do two books for a couple reasons, mostly because I get to read more of his work:), but also because then he can really take his time explaining and tying together. Is this supposed to continue indefinitly, or is it supposed to come together after the 4. If it could go on, that would be just lovely:)
