Hit Myself In the Head With The Door!!

Yes its official..Im a clutz! Friday morning I got up to get my son ready for head start. I was still half asleep and went to get his clothes from the dryer in the basement. I opened the door and SMACK right in the head!! I stood there perplexed for a minute or two. I couldnt believe I hit my head with the door. LOL My head is very sore today. I have a slight bruise. How many of you are also clutzes??

I do it all of the time, at work, I hit my head on the refrigerator door at least 3 times a week.
I made brownies and stabbed myself cutting them.
I cut myself while cutting a precut bagel.

LOL...while cutting a precut bagel!! Sorry but I have done it to and it sounds so funny! I havent been hit with the refrigerator door yet. You watch now that I said that I will do it today! LOL.

Where I work getting hit in the head is a normal part of the work day! The refrigerator is actually one of the least painful things.
BTW - when I stabbed myself cutting the brownies..I had to have surgery to re-attach the nerve endings.

Hello there. I am a clutz too. =(
I am also prone to such accidents. Once, I stood in front of the door to open the door. (By right, we should be standing more towards the side to open the door) As a result, the door hit my toes and my toes were bleeding. It was quite a painful experience. The skin came off and I had to see a doctor to disinfect the wound. *Ouch*
I hope your head bruise is better now. Take care. =D

That Hurts! I am very good at bashing my toes of of things..I dont wear shoes so go figure. LOL. when we moved into our first trailer I almost cut my pinky toe off! I went down the hall and got it caught on the metal vents in the floor. I had to go to the neighboors to call for a ride to the hostpital, I didnt have my phone on yet. I ended up with 5 stitches where my little toe meets the foot!! Man that HURT!

It never happens to my yet thanks God but i always hit my elbow in the wall near the window every morning when i wake-up, i hate waking-up early in the morning..

I do it with our cupboards all the time. We have one that hangs just a bit over the counter and I always bang my head into it. It really smarts, so you'd figure I'd realize it's there and stop hitting it...

LOL! I have hit my head once with the cupboard door and it didnt feel to good. I have new cupboards in my new house and they have locks so when you open the door it stays open!! I love it. No more cupboard doors in the head!

Holy moly girl...You are something else...I am sure it wasn't funny at the moment but I have to admit it is quite funny right now...I have hit my head on the cupboard doors and I have walked into doors..Must run in the family...

well my friend i hope your head feels better,i have done those things a few times but not lately.i have a gate bloking off my kitchen so the babies cant come in and one time i fell over the darn gate because i forgot it was there lol.well i hope all is well hon.pattie

LOL. Ive done that. I recently started watching a 9 month old. I put the gate up so he cant get in the kitchen. I forget and trip over the darn thing! My head is finally feeling better and the headache went away.

I too have been known to be a little bit of a clutz while I'm still half asleep lol! I have run into things, tripped over things, etc. I hope your head is feeling better sweetie!

Many times I do, in fact my head is so accident prone. Many years ago, I was sideweep by a bus in a national road, good I only got some small bruises and it was not that fatal. Just a few years ago I was hit by a broken bottle or a stone right in my forehead. I was riding in a bus then. The blood keep sprouting, its good I did not lost my composure, I was taken to the hospital and there I was given medical attention. It was only later when I came to know that the cut was so deep, it was my best friends whom I was able to call up to see how the doctor clean the affected area, the doctors two fingers inside the area cleaning it. I was only told after Ive talked with my friend a week after the incident. So protect your head and all parts of your body, the way i am protecting my head. if only I can wear motorcycle headgear I have to do that.
