The tree of life is mentioned in the bible, and many beleive this tree is a phisical tree. What if I were to say that the stories of the old testimate, Pre "Exodos" were Alogorical stories? What if I were to tell you the flood stories the serpent, the Garden of eden, Adam, Eve were stories that were told two thousand years befor moses told them? What if I were to say that the starts, constalations, the possition of earth, sun moon and planets were realy involved in this story. Would you still beleive that I am a christian and beleive with my whole heart in God and his Son? What if i told you all the storys in the bible could be exsplained to you in a new way that you could grasp and understatnd fully the true meaning and will of God?

Well if you were to tell me these things I might ask frist where do you get your information and I might question you about your source. My question would how do you accept part of the bible and not all of it. Yes The pre Exodus stories were told about 2000 years before Mose, He had to learn them before he could tell or write them down. I believe that Mose was learning these things while tending Jethro's sheep. I also could accept the fact that you are a Christian and believe in God and Jesus.

The stories of the bible tell another story under the actual story. the writers of the books of the old testemate perposly hid the true meanings in the stoies. For example, when Joseph told his brothers not to tell Pharoh that they were shepards but instead to tell him they heared cattle, do you think this is what was realy ment? Is it so bad to heard sheep? did they not have sheep in Egypt? The story in Genesis where the sons of god came down do you understand what it is saying? you should becouse Jesus said in the last days it will be as in the time of Noah, so what was ha[ppening in the time of Noah? The stories have a value to tell but they have a much deeper meaning.

I could agree with you no better. And yes, everything in Bible could be and should be given a mystical interpretation, because they are spiritual experiences, written down in symbolic manner. They are esoteric truths which were shared among the mystics, so nobody else misuses them and those techniques which they practiced to go experience spiritual truth were also kept secret because, they knew that not everybody were ready to accept them or practice them. But somewhere down the line, the true meaning was lost and today they are just being interpreted as simple text in a very shallow way.

I know the responce I just gave in the above post is going to realy shake some people up, And ofcourse they will not believe it, untill they start to see it unfolding before their eyes, Christ said no man knows the time or day of his return, this is true. But he did say we are able to desern the times of the seasons. These seasons are not the yearly seasons but hose seasons on the grand scale of the ages.

The phrase "tree of life" suggests to me more the Norse myth than the Bible. Yggdrasil, the World Tree, is a gigantic ash that serves as an axis for the world. At Ragnarok, the apocalypse, only two humans survive, by sheltering under the tree.
There's much more to the story. But it's quite a beautiful story, and quite wild and colorful compared to what we're used to.
