Am I the only one in the US who forgot to turn their clock back!

Forgot to turn it back! - clock face
United States
November 4, 2007 8:42am CST
I don't know what made me think of it but about an hour ago I realized that I forgot to turn my clocks back! Luckily my pc and cable box did it on their own so I ran into the kitchen and did the kitchen clock, coffee pot and microwave. Then I noticed my alarm clock sitting next to me that I use for the days I have to get up for work so I changed that. Now I have one watch that I wear to work and I'll have to remember to do that later! Did anyone else forget to turn their clock back last night or today? I'm the only one right? lol...

I don't think it's considered "Forgetting" Until tomorrow. Obvoiusly you still remembered and hey it's not even 10am yet... 11am had we not switched back. So I wouldn't even say you forgot since you remembered still on the day. Because technically I don't think we do the switch until 1am or 2 am. So technically we're supposed to switch on Sunday and not Saturday. So uh, you didn't forget, and neither did anyone else who responds to this today... unless you get up for work or something tomorrow an hour early!

lol...maybe it's too early for me but you totally confused me! I thought we were actually supposed to turn the clocks back at like 2am this morning. Whatever the case it's done....

what i'm saying is that if you still remembered to turn the clocks back before 10am the day you were supposed to turn the clocks back than I wouldn't consider that forgetting. It's not forgetting until you end up waking up early for something in a day or two because you didn't remember to ever turn the clocks back.

I'm not really a clock watcher either since it seldom matters what time of day it is to me. I think I just have OCD when it comes to these things.

I have a total of eight clocks in the house...the only one that changed automatically was my computer one..thank God I didn't have to figure out how to change the time on that. I had to change all the others manually though..last night changed the clocks in my bedroom, VCR, Stereo and one in the living room, but left the others until today

Thanks to that cable box huh! It's a good think we have some things that do this by themselves.

Oh No! it's time for that again? here in Indiana we just started this daylight savings, again after years of not changing. I totally spaced it and if it wasn't for your post, probably would have over slept tomorrow. The whole daylight savings thing is crazy to me anyway. it just proves what I have suspected all along. There really is no such thing as time....we made it all up!

I live in Canada and we do daylight savings time as well, BUT I live in the one province in Canada that doesn't bother with it and I am so glad! What a pain in the rear! PurpleTeddyBear

No, ctry, I didn't forget to turn my clocks back, but I have only reset the one on my microwave because it is the main one that I use. I will eventually get around to resetting the others, but it is a job I don't like. I don't know why they just don't leave the time alone!

Well better to forget in the fall than spring. In the fall you would be early, but if you forgot in the spring you would be late. OOPS!

I always used to forget to turn them back or forward for that matter, but what I do now is right before I go to bed, I change them (whichever it is, spring or fall). This way I don't forget the next day - because I know I would and already have. Hope this tip helps in the future.

I haven't really "forgotten" but I don't have them all changed yet... 2 in the kitchen were done, there's 2 more in there. One in the living room, we have to take it off the wall to change it... I don't know about the bedroom yet - I'm sure my husband got that one... All the PC's and cable boxes went automatically. I'll fix the one in my car tomorrow probably. It's such a pain, I wish they'd just keep it the same (some states do!).

Thankfully, my cable box changes automatically.I was up at @am, and I didn't notice until around 2:34. As soon as I noticed the change, I changed all the clocks. Now I need to remember to change my watch.

LOL you're not the only one:) - Ok I'm not in the states but we also changed here in Canada and all I can say is "Thank God, some things do it on their own!" My cable box was what clued me in this morning too. THe good thing is that it's sunday, so I had nothing that needed specific timing. And no.. you're not the only one LOL

What I do is the coffee maker and microwave the night before and then I just finish off with the others the next day. But I goofed this time, I went the wrong way and set my clocks forward instead of back,...lol so I had to redo them all

I'm sure you're NOT the only one. I did a couple of clocks last night before going to bed early so I'd know for sure what time it was when I got up. I'm sure there are lots and lots of people who forgot so don't feel so alone.
