profile picture

ok- I'm probably an idioso... but I cannot figure out how to upload a picture as my profile pic... I can do it for discussions I start and cannot for responses until I reach 500... etc. But I can't figure this out... I tried the customize option, edit profile option... etc. I even uploaded a pic of my cat but it's not my profile pic...?ANYONE???? please help

ok Ophelia firstly welcome to myLot... If you want to add an avatar to your profile chose the section of 'edit your preferences' and chose a avatar on new opened page from your computer if you can not ask me again. Cheers...
