Here is the problem with Yuwie

United States
November 4, 2007 9:37am CST
And the reason it WILL ultimately fail. Every bit of marketing surrounding Yuwie is based upon "making money" and when the 99% realize they are not going to make any money and stop, the whole system fails. It is not a social site. It is a site for people looking to make money for doing nothing. The vast majority of people signed up for Yuwie to make money and were promised this was the next "Internet Golden Egg". Everything on Yuwie is forced and based upon money. There is no sincerity in what people are doing. They are viewing profiles, blogs etc because they "think" they are going to get paid for it. Here is the reality. It is ad based and the truth is very few people are clicking on the ads. No ad clicking, no revenue for Yuwie. No revenue for Yuwie, no payment for members. No payment for members and the majority quits. The majority quits and the site goes under. The end Anything based upon greed will ultimately fail and the whole concept of Yuwie is a forced society based upon greed. Go to ANY "club" on Yuwie, it's ALL about marketing money making products. EVERYTHING is about greed. Mark this post, keep it put away to refer back to my prediction. TWO YEARS FROM NOW YUWIE WILL NOT EXIST.....

I am not sure how I feel about yuwie yet. I think it takes to long to actully get money. I think that part will discourage people.

You get paid for your page views and your referrals page views. Thats why they are listed in your control panel. It is important that you actually read the faqs and not pay attention to the rumours that seem to be surfacing everywhere.

According to me YUWIE would be extinct by the end of next year because as you have rightly mentioned they play on a not so good business trick.I was amemeber of Yuwie but I dont use it now because its more a money making site rather than a social community

I agree with: most of the members are there for money making, but Yuwie pays it members. I think that Yuwie had to stricter their content policy and everything gonna be O.K.. MySpace earns a billion of dollars each year and don't share that revenue with their members. Yuwie does that. It depends on each individuals if they make good personal page, blog or club. Better the content would be more page views they will receive (I think that personal page views should count! that will make people to work hard on their pages and content. Just like on blogs!).

Yes I too feel the same. But it is good for marketing. Don't know what really happens after 2 years but it is a good site and people should use it properly.

I agree entirely with your views on Yuwie-it gets even more complicated when it comes to amassing referrals, referrals are not easy to come by-this explains why here in mylot, I havent done so well with referrals, most ar not as active as they should be and you end up earning nothing

Ohhh thank you so much for keeping the precautionary warnings going here. When the whole furvor started here a few months ago Mylot members were spammed with requests to join under them and leave Mylot. My response was...forget it! I am happy with Mylot and cannot juggle too many things and do any of them well. When my hubby checked it out and saw it was still in Beta format and a new site he was concerned they hadn't had time to work out the bugs and was suspicious of their motives and your position here just proves that out. So yes, I agree with you anything that sounds too good to be true usually is. Also anything worthwhile does take time, effort and commitment. I have been delighted with Mylot and the whole community here. It is beyond me why people flip flop around when they have a good thing going here. It takes time to build a reputation and develop friendships. I love that most of all...the fact that I am paid a little to do what I love doing anyway is just an added perk. So good discussion...hope it keeps others from being add to the big pile of dissatisfied members I keep reading about in increasing numbers. I said it when the Yewie mania first hit here and I will say it again. In my view Yewie is Patootie in my books! (laugh) Raia

Very very insightful. After 2 months it dawned on me something similar so I just stopped logging on. I was getting bombarded with friends, comments etc and thought "hey they want the same thing I do, money" so how can all of us make money at the same time? When I looked at most the profiles, they didnt even have products to sell or websites, just comments. I basically got bored with IT, the whole Yuwie thing. YOUR words bring it all home clearly LOL!!

Hi,simpleAsABc,I agree with you.I have been a member of yuwie. In the first month when I did yuwie hard,I got 15,000 pageviews.I thought I could earn some money from this website. But I was very despressed to find I just earned $0.07.On the contrary,I can earn $0.37 in a day on mylot. This yuwie cheated anyone. It asked you add more and more friends and referrals. It is too difficult for its members.Earning money from this website is just a lure.

Hi,SimpleAsABC,actually, most of people who signed up yuwie firstly want to earn extra money on internet.Yuwie give them a good lure. But after doing yuwie a period time, they will find it is a dream that making money on yuwie. So someone will give up yuwie. But some people will find another advantages about yuwie. It is a good society website,in this place, you can make many nice friends and exercise your English. So some one stick to do it.I am the later.
