me and my s/o went to see it the night it came out. It was a really good movie to me. To be honest it made me cry because I could relate to it a bit. Jill Scotts charter is the one that hit home to me the most. My ex was like her husband in the movie and I swear I felt like they took that part of it from my life. I am planing on buying it when it comes out on DVD.

Hello Angel,
I can feel you because I was feeling her too throughout that movie, but she got the best in the end, and I really liked that. A man who didn't judge her and loved her and cared about her. It really gave me hope that that can happen to me.

Well I know that it can happen because after all that I went through with my ex I ended up with someone who loves me for me. He is there for me when I need him, he's supportive and loving and is everything a man should be. I'm in a way thankful to my ex for showing me what a man shouldn't be so when I was finally presented with a real good man I was even more able to appreciate him.

Well I went to see the movie with my fiancee last weekend. I could consider myself to be a very vocal theater goer if and only if the movie is very good. You can kind of place me like one of the guys watching a sporting event on tv screaming at the television. Just like you said that in your comment that Jill Scott's character's husband to me sound much like my ex whom seems to believe that I still love him even when I am about to be married to someone else. The part that I loved the most is when she briefly lost it and hit him over the head with the bottle I cheared her for that only because as all of us can tell was like that at one time when we wanted to get revenge on someone for hurting us really badly. But; in all we get over it and GOD blesses us with our prince charming, the one that we truly deserves that sees us for whom we are. Go see this movie it will make you think a little.....

I personaly have watched the movie several times, sometimes alone and other times with friends. It a great movie with valuable lessons to those who are married and also for those who intend to marry. Tyrer Perry wanted to show us that every union has its ups and downs and you may take your partner for granted at your own peril. Its a great movie with different charaacters and different problems for the different couples ...its hard not to identify with one of them.
