people who dress up their dogs are weird

I went for a walk today with my dog , and i saw a group of about 15 people walking their little toy dogs. there were chihuahuas, pugs, poodles and a couple more that i didn`t really recognize , but what made them stand out is that they were all dressed up! It was like a club or something. Most were just wearing wool sweaters, but one had a party hat and clown costume on (a poodle) and another one had chaps and a cowboy hat. It was the most ridiculous thing i`ve ever seen.
