Which one will you go, if the doc had told you had the option to born naturally and you can also to choose the surgery. Which one will you choose? Open to men's idea too, speaking behalf of your spouse side, did you ever decide it together with your spouse?
And why?

This is a good thing but please remember - the recovery time is a LOT longer with surgery & your movement is restricted a LOT more this way.
The pain after the surgery is pretty bad for a couple of months after as it is MAJOR surgery, they cut through 3 layers to get the baby out!
With natural birthing, you can have epidurals which numb you from the waist down so you wont actually feel the pain & then the recovery is much quicker :)
Good luck!

Base on my experience,i would rather deliver my baby naturally than surgery coz c-section is so painful after you deliver the baby. The recovery takes too long. But it depends to the women, there are some women who can deliver a baby naturally that they said its not painful, that the baby will just come out easily.

Actually i think you need to do whatever is best for you & the baby, as apposed to what you WANT to do.
Although natural birth is probably the better way to go - with the stressing of the baby to help it breath as it comes down the birth canal - it is not always possible & in some cases, it's not the safest option for the mother & baby.
I have a friend who opted for a natural birth, her son got stuck part way & she had to have an emergency C Section to get him out & was later informed that her pelvis, even at it's widest was still too small to pass a child & that all future births would have to be via C Section. So it really does depend on the person!
I opted to have a caesarean. I have a metal screw in my pelvis which meant there was a HIGH chance that my pelvis wouldn't open enough to allow my baby to pass through safely & she could get stuck - she was a fairly large baby too.
To save us both the pain & stress of possible complications, i had a C Section & my baby came out healthy, happy & perfect!
Both options are always open to parents, it's just up to the individual to decide which they think is best for their circumstance.
Although i think the husband/partner has a say in these things, in the end, it really needs to be the Mother's decision as it is her body & her health that could be affected by it all.

If there are no complications that would prevent a natural delivery I'd definately choose natural. The surgery just seems to be too extensive and take too long to recover from.

I would definitely choose to have my children naturally, with no questions asked because I have had two csections due to medical problems. Of course, I would go with them again if it meant the only way to bring my children into this world healthy but if I had my choice, it'd be natural.
With csections, there is always a higher chance of infections and the recovery period is longer. This makes it harder to bond with your child and provide the proper care they deserve. I wouldn't of been able to do it without the help of my boyfriend.

I had all my kids naturally and if given the option I'd still have them naturally...to me its part of the fun of being preg, giving birth and becoming a parent....

i think that bear the baby by natural is better. but i will not dicide that. i will respect my wife's decision. by the way, i have not marry yet. but i am already 25 years old. i think it is in a not long future.
frankly speaking, bearing the baby sugery will reduce the pain the new mother suffer, but it is said it is not good for the baby. if you think it more about baby, you should bear the baby natural.
different people have different ideas.
