running away from home

This crossed my mind when I was a teenager. I really believe teens think there is a better life out there in the cold world, freedom and sense of independence. It's not that easy. Many return back home after experiencing a rough way to go. Some living on the streets and ruining their lives and some living with friends only to find that sort of life is not easy either. As a parent if our kids ran away, I'd find them and most important would find out why they chose to leave. To answer your question about running away, no it's not a good idea. Nobody wins!
